My writing is rooted in a simple belief: every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and understood.
As a parent of a neurodivergent learner, I’ve watched my son navigate a world that doesn’t always understand how he thinks and learns—and I’ve seen both the struggle and the brilliance that come with that difference.
I write for kids who have ever felt “odd,” “too much,” or “not enough,” so they can recognize their strengths and know they belong. And I write for the kids around them, to help build empathy, understanding, and connection.
Because differences don’t divide us...they make us stronger.

BACKGROUND
Jenn Bonicelli is an educator turned writer and co-author of the bestselling parenting guides You Can Two and A Dad’s Guide to Newborn Twins. A mother of twins and parent of a neurodivergent learner, she has spent over a decade advocating for children who think and learn differently.
Her middle-grade mystery series, The Odd Squad, celebrates those differences by telling stories where unique minds become powerful strengths. Through her work, Jenn hopes to help kids feel seen and inspire greater empathy in the world around them.
She lives in Colorado with her family, their springer spaniel, Bugatti, and a barn full of horses.
